Big Fishing Rod[]

There's always a bigger fishing rod.

Wheeler

The Big Fishing Rod is an item that, judging by character quotes, is intended to allow players to catch bigger fish, or to catch more fish compared to the regular Fishing Rod. If implemented, it would be found in the Survival Tab and require two Silk and two Twigs to craft with a Science Machine. In the character's examination strings, it is referred to as "bigfishingrod".

Fat[]

Fat is a Food category which only contains Butter. It does not exist within the game, but is listed as a value in the cooking.lua files. In the Shipwrecked DLC, Coconuts were also added to this category.


Player Skulls[]

Player Skulls are items with artwork in the files. The majority of the playable Characters have skulls, as well as some of the Unimplemented Characters. Skulls will not be implemented, as they are only in the game files due to being part of the unlock system in the unreleased game. However, Webber's Skull was added in the Reign of Giants DLC.

On May 6, 2021, the skulls of Warly, Walter, Maxwell, Wigfrid, Winona, Wormwood, and Wurt were added to Don't Starve Together. On September 9, 2021, the skull of Wanda was added. On July 1, 2022, the skull of Wonkey was added.

Bag[]

The Bag is an item with artwork in the files. It was probably replaced by the Backpack.

Bucket[]

The Bucket is an item with artwork in the files. A picture shows that Buckets were meant to be worn on the player's head. The texture was eventually used for the Bucket-o-poop.

Clothes[]

Clothes is an item with artwork in the files. A similar item, Cloth, was added in the Shipwrecked DLC.

Flour[]

Flour is an item with artwork in the files. It was eventually implemented in The Gorge event for Don't Starve Together, but uses a different texture.

Phonograph Parts[]

Phonograph Parts are items found in the game files. They can be spawned in via the console, but cannot be picked up or examined. Their spawn codes are "phonograph_gears", "phonograph_crank", "phonograph_cane" and "phonograph_box".

Stopwatch[]

The Stopwatch is an item with artwork in the files. It looks similar to the Compass.

Truffles[]

Truffles are an item with artwork in the files. In the original concept, things would be bought from Pigs with Truffles.

Long Pig, also called Human Meat, is a removed Food Item in Don't Starve Together, that used to be dropped by dying players. It stacked up to 20, took 6 Days to spoil, and when consumed, restored 12.5 Hunger, while reducing 20 Health and 33 Sanity. Long Pig no longer drops from players, although the assets still remained in the game. Its spawn code is "humanmeat".

Cooked Long Pig could be obtained by Cooking Long Pig on a Campfire or Fire Pit. It restored 18.75 Hunger, while reducing only 3 Health and 20 Sanity, and took 10 Days to spoil. Its spawncode is "humanmeat_cooked".

Long Pig Jerky could be produced by Drying Long Pig for 1 day. It took 20 Days to spoil, and when consumed, restored 25 Hunger, while reducing 3 Health and 15 Sanity. Its spawn code is "humanmeat_dried".

Floatilizer[]

The files of Don't Starve Hamlet contain an item referred to as "floatilizer". It seems to be a version of the Bucket-o-poop but with a Floater.

The Lollichop was found in the game files of Reign of Giants DLC and is an item for the the unimplemented character Pyro. Most likely the regular Lollichop and the bitten Lollichop is the Eye Bone equivalent for the Balloonicorn.

Maxwell's Mosquito Trap is an unimplemented item that acts in the same way as the Bee Mine, but spawns Mosquitoes instead of Bees and cannot be picked up. It is activated when the player or another mob steps on it, causing the spawned Mosquitoes to attack them. Like Maxwell's Tooth Trap, it was meant to only emerge in Adventure Mode. Its spawn code is "beemine_maxwell".

The Vibrant Peagawk Plume is an unimplemented Item in the Hamlet DLC. Dropped from Prism Peagawk. Feathers are an elemental type food that can be fed to the Rock Lobster and given to the Moleworm. It can be spawned with the console and picked up with the Space key, but has no sprite in-game.

The Dried pig skin was found in the Don't Starve: Newhome beta files. Dried pig skin was not found as an item, but was found in the drying rack texture files.

The Stone claw was found in the Don't Starve: Newhome beta files. Apparently, it was originally drops from rock lobster. Apparently, Rocky Claw could also be crafted from them.

Beefalo Vomit[]

The Beefalo Vomit was found in the Don't Starve: Newhome beta files.
