The Friendly Scarecrow is an exclusive Structure in Don't Starve Together, introduced in A New Reign. It requires a Pumpkin, six Cut Grass, and three Boards to craft and a Science Machine to prototype. Its only function is to greatly reduce the spawn rate of Crows in the area in which it was placed, while greatly increasing the rate of Canaries. If burned down and Hammered, it will drop a Hot Pumpkin, instead of a raw one.

The Friendly Scarecrow has 13 different possible face expressions on the pumpkin. The face on the Friendly Scarecrow's pumpkin will change at the dawn of a new day, or when it is struck with a Hammer. Friendly Scarecrows can be dressed with all types of Skins, including shirts, gloves, pants and shoes.

Trivia

• The Friendly Scarecrow was added in the Warts and All update. The ability to dress it with Skins was added later in the Cute Fuzzy Animals update.
