Hello, I am Kuirem one of the moderator of the Don't Starve reddit. Lately we've receive some complaints about how the wiki is so full of ads that some computer just can't handle the load without AdBlock and a discussion started to know if there was a way to solve that.
I don't know how much control you have on that or if it is all managed by Fandom but Klei contacted us to help as well so it would be good if one of the wikia Bureaucrat or Admin could join as well to give their opinion on all that.
When I go on somebody's user page, on the first little notification thing that says "Welcome to the wiki,(Name Of Person),Thanks for your edit to the (Insert Some Random Page Here) page, no matter whose user page it is, it always says "Welcome To the wiki ARM123".The page changes though.
That is because the message basically has a template which shows the username of whoever is reading it on it. I think in source mode it is something like "Welcome to the wiki username, thanks for your edit...
Hi Anemicne! I was playing with the mod- and debugging system of DST today and made myself familiar with many console commands and the LUA backend. As there were some recent changes to Variable-/Classnames I would like to correct and add some new command stuff to the command page I just figured out:
The page is restricted for new and unregistered users to edit because it is an important topic to keep un-vadalized. However, if you respond back to me, I will open the page up for everyone to edit so that you can add any new info you have.
Hi! I just created an account here but some while ago previous to doing this, I had made an edit on the Scalemail page (to correct the last tip, [...]Also, the head armor should be equipped last.[...] I was a bit surprised you could make anonymous edits but it has stayed! However now I wish I had been logged in so the edit would give me achievement points :( Is there any way you can verify it was me? Does the site record IP address? I could just go back and pretend to re-edit the edit but that might look a bit odd to whoever goes over these things! Your advice much appreciated, thanks :)
