A lot of people:Hey Klei, why don't you add multiplayer!
Klei: We'd have to recode the entire game.
Some dude: Why don't you make a sequel, and add multiplayer to that!

Agreed.
You people trip me out. It's a computer game - do you think Klei released it for fun? No, they were hoping to make a profit, and they did. If enough people say "Damn it, we want multiplayer - get off your asses, *recode it if you have to*, and we'll PAY you for basically the same game... You think they shouldn't do that? You thgink we "shoudl be grateful" for a game that we BOUGHT that has some pretty big holes in the development?
...Fine. Everyone's entitled to an opinion. *Shrug* ....They very well might not. As an ex-salesperson though, we call that "leaving money on the table" that someone's TRYING to give you, however.

Because someone would still be pissed that they would sell the same game with one added feature that they kept saying they wouldn't add.
Also there's a reason why engineering and marketing departments don't do each other's jobs.
